Subsequent administrative and removal costs of the vehicle and/or parts may be assessed against you. #ABANDONED CAR MARKET REGISTRATION#
If you have deferred your vehicle registration (referred to as Plan Non-Op) your vehicle must be removed from the roadway. The vehicle must be driven a significant distance and the odometer reading must reflect this. Incidental moving of the vehicle does not comply with the requirements of the ordinance. 72 hours from the time of the issuance of a warning notice a vehicle will be subject to citation and/or will be removed and stored at the owner's expense.
#ABANDONED CAR MARKET CODE#
The California Vehicle Code and the Galt Municipal Code authorize the towing of any vehicle parked or stored on any public roadway for more then 72 consecutive hours.
